from what I have heard and read so far I think the pricing would have to be rock bottom to make it a worthy swap...but why would it be any cheaper than a current ls6 intake?

John, do you have any idea what its lookin like cost-wise to mod an ls2 intake to fit on an ls1 block?

The MAP sensor goes on the front passengers side of the manifold, the "hole" in the picture bottom right is the MAP sensor location.

what makes this better than a ls6 intake other than price? It appear to be nearly identical to me.

if your paying 400 then your getting screwed. They only cost around 230 and some change. dealer cost on them is 205.
