I read that article also and they were also talking about a colorado right? What I noticed was that they said it used some LS1 parts I'm hoping the main parts that they used from the LS1 was the crank and rods. Lord knows for the after market guys a 7L will be the shiot. Also remember the trend that all aftermarket tuners ie. Lingenfelter (R.I.P. Johnny boy 
) and the like all use 427ci ie. 7L I dont know if that is good or bad for us

yes, they sais they used other ls1 and ls2 parts, but just the fact that they said 6.4l ls7 is what i was getting at. i'm sure they used ls2 fuel lined etc.

Don't know if this is a repost or not not but i know they aren't using a 6.2.
Also looks at this which confirms it's a 7.0L with 500hp.

If its a 6.4 we can put a forged 4" crank in it
While not cheap it will likely knock almost 2k off the price of putting together a 427 compared to now.
Now to put that f^cker in my car.
