Why are the LS2 intakes so much cheaper than the LS6?
I think a local shop here in ATL already dyno'd one and it made 3 more HP. Thats just what a little birdy told me

Tooling and mfg cost due it is multi piece design is significantly cheaper than the single tooled part. Not to mention the scrap rate. Also, being a multi piece part allows them to do trick stuff like the bell shaped entry into each runner that was not possible with previous designs.
