Default When will pricing for LS2 heads be available?

I'm just wondering when the pricing for LS2 heads be available-just wondering how they will compare to the 243 Z06 castings with the hollow valves.

I might be wrong but I'm fairly certain that the LS2 heads are the same as the LS6 heads.

Yes, they are the same heads. The part numbers are the same, so pricing will be the same.

BUT there are 2 types of LS6 head-the one that showed up on the 01 Z06 and the rest that came on the 02 and up Z06's. The 02 and later had the longer hollow stem valves.

The heads on the LS2 do not have the hollow valves like the 02-up LS6 head.

They'll either come one way or another on the valves. They may quit selling them complete and just offering the castings. Then you can order a valve kit for the year of your car........

Hello!

The part # is the same for all LS6/LS2 applications. #12564825 $841.80 Retail each head. The heads are sold BARE -- no valves or springs.

Hope this clears things up a little bit.
