I dont know if this has been posted or if it is illegal but I found this on another site and thought I would pass it along. Enjoy.

Those are the best pics I've seen thus far of it. Everything else has been a photoshop....that DOESN'T look like a photoshop.

Only a matter of time until it's commonplace to see a REAL 2006 Z06. But, it's been fun speculating about the shape, engine displacement, etc. It's gonna be awesome!!! I'm seriously thinking about getting into a vette now. Maybe I still can't afford to pony-up to the Z06 price, but a C6 will be just fine. Unless GM comes out with a killer new Camaro/Firebird/GTO in 2007 like we keep hearing about. I still think my Trans Am looks more menacing than the Vette, but the C6/Z06 is growing on me......

When are the engines going to be available for purchase and how is progress on the KS coming? I know what I want for X-mas/b-day (for the next 5 yrs)!

Fall of '05 is when the LS7 should be avalible. As far as the intake size the only thing I can think of is that my be the 12hp that was "taken away" from the engine, but that is just a guess. I am willing to bet that this motor will response greatly to mods..

Intake valve must be a typo.

My 02 SS needs one of these, modded a bit of course.

Car looks beautiful, that intake valve has to be a typo if it really only had a 1.81" intake valve it would be hard pressed to make even 400 hp......

I think the decimal place is just in the wrong place, they probably mean 18.1 to feed that beast.

I saw on another thread 56mm which works to 2.20

perhaps that was a conversion error and it will get 2.02 since even the C5R heads aren't running 2.20 valves as far as I know.

I have no idea whether or not it was a typo but it does say raced based cnc heads.. These could be the c5r heads but that is just speculation.. I guess we will find out once more specs are available to us about the motor.

Question? Can anyone tell by the pic if the intake is diff from the LS2 or no?

It does look different yes, the runners look more boxey (is that a word?) and flat. The front runner also looks to be higher then the rest. Impressive piece none-the-less.
