The 425 was custom made for him I would assume, since the car orignally had a 425.

The "prototype" powerplant was awesome and Jay's shop and collection are unbelievable...that being said, that Toronado, although impressive and extremely well built, is still kinda on the fugly side! lol

It was the race motor from the cadilac. It had that LS7 manifold. Looked real sweet, and turbos to boot. Must be nice.

All I have to say is... It's good to be Jay! Of course, I've always said one day I want to have a collection of cars likes Jay's. Perhaps on a smaller scale, but I want a collection like his.

1000 HP ya right
I believe thay had a copy of the engine dyno sheet at SEMA. 1069hp on C16. It's detuned to ~700 to run on pump gas.

I totally believe the power output claims, I just don't know how the hell that trans and stockish C5 rear is holding it all.

I also noticed the floor being all scraped up

it has a built 425+ci twin turbo motor, I can believe 1000HP.

I can believe that. I have thus far seen 2 different twin turbo 402-406 small blocks pushing over 1000hp at the rear wheels.
One was on race gas, the other pump gas. No bottle.

Look at the tires, No traction = no broken parts I'm sure it's a beefed version. I've seen 4L60's handle 1000hp engines before.
