now that the LS7 block will soon be released what exactly will happen to the C5R block? What i mean is, what will happen to the price? I hoping it would possibly go down. Also, Will it still even exist since it is LS1 based and LS1 one engines are be being phased out? Will there be a LS2 based C5R block?

Will parts be interchanagle between the LS7 and C5R? (Assuming yes since all LSx engines have little to no trouble swaps)

just have some questions because it seems the C5R was an awesome block to build off of.

 

I don't think the C5R block is going anywhere. The LS7 block seems to be an LS2 block with bigger cast-in liners. The C5R block should still be the benchmark for stregnth.

 

Whats really going to kick *** are the new Sleeved LS2 blocks. Half the price of a C5R and you prolly won't break them anytime soon!
