500 hp at 6200 rpm. I thought that seemed like a low rpm for an engine with such a light rotating assembly and great flowing heads. I read specs in Corvette fever today and I think I have the answer if said specs are correct.
intake dur 230 and exhaust 211. Just think what it is going to do with a decent cam!
Wondered what you guys think?

What do you mean with a decent cam? A LOT of peeps are making great numbers with reverse split cams up top, and they can definately improve midrange torque by a huge amount. There is absolutely no reason to run a standard split cam (more exhaust than intake duration) on any ls series engine that has a decent exahust system.

I have not as of yet seen the specs on the exhaust system used, but it is not an unreasonable assumption that it could use some improvement.
