LS2 Knock Sensor Issue
I have a 427 C5R motor in my C6 and have all the sensors working without problem. The cam sensor needed to be rewired, but no big deal. C5 knock sensors mounted in the side of the block should be no problem at all. I used C6 sensors and just tapped some holes in the block and bolted them on.
One word about knock that everyone should take note of. Audible knock is often times not even picked up by the sensors. It's at a higher frequency than the sensors are tuned for. I build a LOT of blower cars. I've seen quite a few that ping like a dog and show no KR. Don't rely entirely on what your data logging shows. You really have to LISTEN also.

Knock sensor's are there for bad tuning or bad gas.When tuning you do not want any KR/anytime. .4 of KR is still bad.Andy brings up a good point too.Audable KR can have a frequency not picked up by the KR sensors so you need to tune around that too.After everycar I tune the car is rung out on the road so I can listen for KR that the sensors don't pick up.
Now,people ask if it's safe to get rid of the KR sensors?Absolutely if the tuning is right.Alot of my customers run without them and even my own Vette hasn't had them for about a year and the stock motor runs 12lbs of boost on pump gas
