Can someone explain to me how that intake set-up works, I've seen it only in photographs.

Also the Black Z06 is mighty sexy, would look great w/ tints like that chop, but if the rims would be black, they need the polished lip, chrome lugnuts, and chrome Corvette emblem

It works just like your car except the path air travels is different. Individual runner lengths instead of a plenum. Works real well at higher rpms.

Seems pretty cool, how effective and efficient is it vs. the standard LSx intake systems like the LS1 in the Bird, camaro, Vette?

Yeah, everything is painted black around that area which makes things difficult to see in the photo.

I wouldn't suspect it would be the manifold of choice for a street car but it does do well above 4k.
