There have been a small number of max effort h/c 346s put down a bit over 500rwhp.

With the same performance, from an LS2 this could be good for what, 530 or so? If the new headers are a little better then what Kooks or LG has currently, it doesn't seem totally far fetched. The dyno could be a little generous.

Those times don't seem unreasonable to me with 2.0 60'.

Bottom line is lets see the dyno graph.

Thats what I am saying too... I am not saying that I believe him or not but you don't have to be negative about...YOu just have to wait and see if he can back up what he said thats all..until then..dont hate! And for the guy who commented on have 530RWHP and laughing at his times which were 11's..well HELLO there are 800-1000RWHP supras and vipers running 10-11's with all that horsepower...then there also 400-450RWHP running low 11's high 10's...its all how useable your HP is and what your suspension and traction is set for...maybe he doesnt want a 1/4 mile car and what about the gears? bottom line is you never know these days about the possibilities the LSx engines..people used to laugh and BS when people said they got 450RWHP and now the same people are saying the its too low for what you have!! just let the man prove himself...anyways...just thought I'd chime in..peace..

o2haWK has a good point. The car is obviously not set up for the track if he is only pulling 2.1 60'. My car put 410 at the wheels and I am only getting low 12's with my stock gear and basic suspension set up on street tires, but other guys are running low 10's with the same power. We all have different ideas of how are cars should be. Besides I saw in a recent article that they put on a lsx intake, mild cam and LT on a c6 and that car put down close to 500 at the wheels with a mild tune. Basically, anything is possible, so don't hate.

LG Pro Long Tube headers
Borla Stinger muffler
G5X-4 cam by LG Motorsports
Upgraded valve springs

It's gotta be a typo on his part as far as RWHP that he posted. 443 seems about right for the MPH that he is showing. If I made 553 you would see some mid to low 10 second timeslips

I have and Excedy single disc, it's a good clutch but beware of tuning with the light weight flywheel. My took forEVER and it still hunts a bit on hot starts.

543 and 11s, you sure it's not a Supra?
I didn't know Speedway was still around. GMHTP and Hot Rod rode their jock back in 99 with their max-effort gutted C4, then it never ran the number it was supposed to, and you never heard from them again. I saw them in Bristol in 2000, and coudln't believe some of the lame bush league **** they were doing!

Default Typing mistake

Sorry guy's I made one big mistake when I typed this stuff in and didn't realize it until I just read about it.

The car made 453hp NOT 543 it was an honest mistake and I am very sorry , I was tired when I typed that in and wasn't really paying attention.

Also we are having trouble tuning the car anyone know of any programs available?

With response to the new clutch I am very interested please give me your email address.

Thanx

I wouldn't recommend an Exedy....

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/271658-finally-clutch-works.html

If you have any more info about the car, the dyno used to obtain thosae numbers, etc... please feel free to post them up... MPH is a key indicator of real HP. 125MPH is indicative of about 480-480 RWHP... He may have been quoting crank HP which would be arround the number you listed...
