Question How will this cam work in Ls2? Or will it?

My brother totaled his 02 SS Ls1 a few months ago. He is selling all of his mods, one being a cam that I would like to know if it will work with my LS2 (05 GTO M6).

I would like to know if it would fit, if I need new push rods, springs, rockers etc... Anything that would be helpful. I'd also like to know what I could expect in the RWHP after the install, if it will work.

I have SW LT's and catback, and the lingenfelter CAI on order and I thought this cam might be a nice compliment. I plan on having it tuned as well. There is a guy in Atlanta that has been having some very good results with the LS2 tunes.

Anyways, the cam is a:

Thunder Racing custom grind cam 99-224/224-112

This is what Thunder Racing's description is:
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA 1700-6600 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning on automatic transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it will work no problem, but you will need some tuning. I don't know if LS2edit is out yet, but it should be soon.

Just for the hell of it, you should throw in some Comp 918 springs to beef up the spring strength a bit. You can never be too safe.
