I have a LS2 in an off-road dunebuggy. The biggest issue I had was the pulley/accessories. Basically, any Ls1 pulleys will bolt up to the ls2. The problems arise when you attempt to mix and match pulleys/accessories. For example, a ls1 corvette pulley will only work with accessories that match that ls1 corvette system. With an ls2 this becomes an issue due to the ls2 water pump. Its pulley is approx. 1/2" closer to the block than ls1 corvette pump. You can pull the pulley forward on the LS2 pump and tack weld it. Otherwise transfer all of you LS1 system onto the LS2.

Okay this is my fault for not specifing what i am doing. I am wanting to put my asp pullyey on the 402 i just ordered and it doesnt have to match up to anything else i am adapting my alt off my mustang to the bracket for the factory alt for the gen 3 small block and that is all that is going to be ran by the crank pully nothing else. No p/s and an electric w/p. I just need to know if it will go on.
