what is the deal i heard that in 08 vette will have ls3 put out 450hp and ls9 with blower put out over 600hp???

LS3s are in the upcoming Impala, Grand Prix, and I think Monte Carlo. They have 300HP/300TQ and FWD too

yup I'm pretty sure I was right just checked. The LS3 is also expected in the return of the El Camino SS!!!

Where did you check? Im just going off of what I read in a motor trend; its not like magaziness are anything you should believe though.

Sources arn't great on LS3 yet; but from what i've heard. LS3 is Gen4 (LS2) V8 6.4 liter 450bhp.

Pontiac had a television commercial out for a car with the LS4. Cn't remember much about it, though.

Never heard of an LS3 or LS9... Until now, I guess.

LS4 is the FWD 5.3L V8 with DoD used in the Impala SS/GP GXP

LS3 is new motor that will succeed the LS2.. (450HP)
LS9 is the supercharged LS3 (600HP)

IIRC, the LS3 uses the unported LS7 heads
