Where did you check? Im just going off of what I read in a motor trend; its not like magaziness are anything you should believe though.

LS4 is the FWD 5.3L V8 with DoD used in the Impala SS/GP GXP
LS3 is new motor that will succeed the LS2.. (450HP)
LS9 is the supercharged LS3 (600HP)
IIRC, the LS3 uses the unported LS7 heads
