LS7 intake and heads
Think about this. You can do a 427 with LS6 heads and a LS6 intake for less then you can do a 408 with AFR's and a fast 90mm intake.
The New head will use the stock LS1 valve train.Should be available sometime after the first of the new year.

We will continue too let you guys know everything we know when it happens.
Thanks again to everyone who supports us through this venture.

Do you know what intake they will be using.... i'm assuming the LS7 Intake????

- Will the special parts (valves and rockers at least) be available to finish the heads/valvetrain?
- Will a FAST or other FAST compatible 90 mm TB bolt up?
- What is the chamber volume on the heads? The LS7 engine pics show a FT piston with deep valve reliefs - must be pretty big chambers to keep CR in range.
With the right answers to these questions, I could order an MTI or other sleeved 427 short block with FT pistons, cut the valve reliefs after getting the heads, bolt everything up, and be back on the road when the weather turns nice in Spring!
Do you already have access to the 4.200" sleeves or something? How much are you getting the work done and does this include the price of the block?

Crow, any word yet on what the assembled cost of the LS7 heads will be? Maybe even a ballpark? Also, reading GMHTP I saw that the intake is delivered to GM from Bosch as an entire unit with fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body. How do y'all get around having to buy it that way? If it's all one unit shouldn't it have one part number?
