Lightbulb I got a roller.... Need Help on pickin a Motor

I got a 99 T/A. It was a M6. I want to put a LS2 or LS6 in it (Which one???). Will it fit in the body? Can i use the stock trans and clutch?
Thanks for the help.

and yes,
ive heard they will fit in the car
with minimal work
maybe the only issue would be a wiring harness?

and you can use the stock t56 trans
with minimal mods,
but dont count on that clutch for long

look for the 6.0 truck motor, cast iron block, good heads, while its out if you have the $$ make it forged interals with worked heads, put a SC on it and a FAST intake and you are rockin...

Thanks for the help.

Get an LS2. Take the left over money and get some AFR heads, cam, etc. You'll be putting out more than that LS7 with money left over...

It all depends on how much money you want to spend on the motor.
