Default need advice for a 402 ls2 combo

I have just ordered a ls2 402 from SDPC -15cc pistons and am going with a 226/226 6.00 lsa 112 ( cal smog) and stage 2 202 heads 65cc ( i know i will need better heads but ran out of money for now) Also have ls6 intake ,ported TB, kooks lt, 4.10 gears, spec 3 with centerforce steel flywheel. How do you think this combo will run. RWHP ? Dependable?
Please give me your input good or bad.

Thanks

I have a setup quite similar than your's (a little smaller in fact).

Engine: Lunati LS1 382 stroker, custom ported LS1 heads (milled .015", 64.2cc chambers, 10.6:1cr, 2.08"/1.55", comp 918), cam (XE lobes, 224/224 .560/.560 112lsa 108icl), hardened pushrods, LS6 intake, SLP lid + k&n filter, ported throttle body, 85mm maf, 30 lbs injectors, double timing chain, SLP oil pump.

Exhaust: SLP lt headers, catted-Y, stock dual/dual exhaust.

Drivetrain: Centerforce dual-friction clutch, steel driveshaft, Moser 12-bolts (3.73's, 33 spline).

Impressions: Very satisfied with my setup after 1 1/2 year. 399rwhp/411rwtq (a little lower than expected, was expecting around 420, but still happy with it). Very flat torque curve. Idle almost like stock at 800rpm with just a bit of lope. No surging. No stalling.

If I had to do it again: I would probably go with ported LS6 heads (11:1cr) and a slightly bigger cam (230/232) but not too much because I really love the low-end torque of that thing.

IMHO you should see numbers around 445rwhp/460rwtq with your setup.

Thanks for your input. I was puting out 403 rwhp on a dyno jet with the 224/224 114 and same heads with a stock ls1 until the crank pullie fell off and grinded my crankshaft So i figue it was a good excues to go the a 402 i am hoping to get around 460-470. If not i will change my heads to the afr 225 or somthing close to it. I have thought about going to a more aggressive cam but the smog out here is pretty strick.

WOW - how did the pulley fall off?

Can't you have a machine shop fix it? Threads screwed up?

The pullie bolt just backed it self out. I have heard this was a common problem for these car.
I tried to get it mickey moused back on at first buy when the pullire came of it grinded the crankshaft up pretty good (can't get another pullie to fit). I will make sure the new one will be pinned.
