LS2 - Oddball coil pack connectors?
This article may be old, but it has the following:
"The LS2's redesigned coil packs have different wiring-harness connectors and use a revised plug wire (right) with molded right-angle boots. HRM"
http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/e...s2/index1.html
First I get injectors that wont work with an LS1 harness and now coil packs too.
Can anyone verify this?

The female plug on each coil set assembly is the same. I just went and plugged my LS1 harness into a set of LS2 coils. Part number stamped on the LS2 coil set bracket is 12580353.
From the female plug runs 4 minor harnesses with a male plug on the end of each......on the LS1 assembly each male plug is about an inch wide. On the LS2 each male plug is 11/16 wide.
So individual coils could not be swapped between LS1 and LS2 but I can't see why coil assemblies couldn't.
As for plug wires they are totally interchangeable.....I prefer the 90 deg LS2 version.
See pic below LS2 coil pack assembly.
