MT drag radial, 255 50 16 @ 18 psi.

Thanx

In defense of the new Zo, the driver had not been to the track in 15 years and he was real tentative. He also said he was not going to mod it....lol

Why did he even run if he was going to drive it like that. Looks like he granny shifted and lifted at 1000'. That is 10 second mph you have in your car.

Once, I get the Zo rolling, they hook very well, even thru the power shifts.
I just can't seem to master the launch with them in the vette.

They hook really well on the street too.

New Z06 as in a C6 Z06? Why did it only mph 115? Wasn't it Car & Driver that got 127 mph stock in one?

Torque management is the devil with all the 6th generation Vettes. He probably had the motor nice and hot creeping up to the starting line. TM pulls lots of spark once ECT exceeds a certain threshold.

is your car a m6? if it is try pleloading the drive train with your e-brake, its hard to do at first but once you get good at it you'll be pullin 1.9-1.8 60' times.

if you just barely load the drivetrain and hold the clutch at that point i wouldnt see it hurting it that bad. i pulled a 1.8 60' on my factory good years when the car was bone stock launching at 3000rpm's. no spin just goin.

Wow where did the other 10mph go? That's usually about 100 rwhp, right?
