Thanks

I am more interested in the 6.2L block than the heads...

Stroke is the same. The trigger wheel is 58X on the new engines.

The catch with this new 6.2L is that the stock crank is forged, correct?

Any pricing on just a bare block yet? This will make an awsome stroker setup.

The 58 tooth reluctor wheel will not work with the older systems designed for the 24 tooth wheel.

You can just change the wheel to 24x, BUT you still might be CRAZY!!
All the cranks I seen are cast....

Block should be available around January time frame and talking with a few builders it should be almost exactly the same price as an ls2 block.

I was hoping the 6.2L head might work with the LS7 intake with some epoxy work, but that looks like a no go.

So, the hot ticket looks to be a 6.2L block, ls7 heads and intake, and a current 24x crank. If you do an Eagle crank or something like that you can do a pretty cheap stoker and make some pretty crazy power.

Correct... ET's new C5R style head with the LS7 intake would be even more interesting! This combo should be good for ~30-40HP over an LS2 with AFR225's and a Fast 90 intake... The stock crank will be forged and this would make a killer 378CI budget build!
