i'm suprised they didn't treat these like the cobalt SS's and not give rebates on that particular package.

I never really say a certian colors only list... but the ones I'm seeing around my area in a 1000 mile radius are only black, white, and the silverstone

I just located someone an LS that was pretty loaded. after rebates it'd be around the 29k price, and it had sunroof, XM, etc...

For MuscleMachine, did you want RWD or AWD? I found 11 RWD versions from a 38k to 41k MSRP. All of them will be pretty loaded. and i didn't see any AWD models around your area. This was all in a 250 mile radius

It does rocket out of the hole WELL and shifts nicely... that thing pulls like a BEAST... corners well too... and rockets out of em VERY well for an SUV... took a ride... was VERY impressed to say the very least.... pulls significantly harder than my baby... but would loose due to weight.

Question

Everyone is pushing the AWD but wouldn't the RWD one be potentially faster (in the dry) due to the lighter weight/less drivetrain loss, providing one can even hook it that is?

Dude that truck is freakin HOT in white.
In stock form, the 2WD is quicker, but put about 500 hp under the hood and the AWD will be quicker due to traction. Look at Parish's fullsize GM truck that went 10s on factory radial tires. It was due to AWD traction, it would have been impossible to run 10s on stock radials with a 2WD at that power level.

Traction is key, look at how well WRX Subies do, those cars would be dogs if they were only front-drive.
