Default LS2 402 RX7 tuning help

I drove my ls2 402 rx7 for the 1st time today. This thing has alot of TQ. The only problem I am having is that I get knock over 5,000. I have turned the timming down to 25 deg but I still have the problem. Does anyone have a program that would work for my combo. I need one that is from a 01 f-body ecu so i can load it using ls1edit.

402
Ported TEA 5.3 heads
236/236 601/601 115 cam
ls6 MAF that was calibrated but it is still off.
fast 90mm
30lb svo

I am looking for a program that would be close until I take it to the dyno in 2 weeks. I plan on going with speed density on the dyno. Thanks for any help.

Phoenix57 I am hoping for something close to 500rwhp. I think that the 30lb ford injectors should be ok. If I need to I will install some larger injectors.

Thanks

Mike

I would try adding fuel above 5 grand and see if your problem goes away.

hopefully he doesnt plan on cheating on me, since I did the two cars in his sig yes its a F-body computer BTW.

forgot to mention 500 rwhp will be a maxed 30 lb injector 42s the duty cycle will be around 70ish% which is perfect, room to grow, etc.

Nick Thanks for the dyno time on the last motor's. i did not know that you where doing SD tune, that is good news. I ordered some 42# imjectors, I think that I am going to put on some ETP 225 heads before I dyno it.

Thanks for all the info.

Man, did I call this one or what Mike?

For the people who weren't there I tuned the car tonight, IPW was right at 70-71% peak horsepower at 12.5 AFR.......

Default What're you using?

What PCM and who's wiring harness? Fly by wire, OEM 90 MM Throttle body or cable (FAST or something) stock MAF sensor?

What tuning software?

Please help a fellow Bowtie / Mazda freak!!!

Really impressive numbers!!!!!!!

LS2 V8 Miata, I am using a 2001 f-body ecu and harness.
90mm Fast intake and TB
Nick used HP tuner on the car and tuned it in SD mode.
Today I put on a 4" intake and made 489rwhp 477rwtq
With the old 3.5" intake I was only making 463rwhp 444RWTQ
So the 4" intake was worth 26RWHP 33RWTQ

Right now I am doing a 2005 gto ls2 into a 280z, it will DBW using the stock TB. I will also be using the stock gto computer.

Drewman, I hope I can make a few more HP with the ETP heads.
