Do you have the crank sensor connected? Where did you buy it?

ALmost positive it's the cam sensor improperly wired.

My bad the car starts. But sometimes it just cranks, and after a few times cranking it starts.

The Crank sensor is connected. I'm going to re doo all the wires I spliced.

Since I only splice the cam, crank, Right o2 sensors. I think the only one of those 3 for the RPM'S would be the crank sensor right?

and for the hard start, either bouth the cam , crank, o2 sensor or all 3

Why did you splice the crank wire? That should be fine. I spliced the cam sensor wire, but now there are true plug n play harnesses for that. What codes are you getting?

the ground wires on the back of the head were a big problem for me, check those, then check them again.

I will check all the ground wires also. I splice the crank wires, because I wanted all the wires to run truogh the front and under engine mount away from the header.

I forst use my friends scanner, but only the cam sensor came up.At that time I was running with a different problem.I fix that allready

today I use the Snap On scanner.Came with 9 codes, o2 sensors, cam sensor are the critical ones.

Sounds more like the cam sensor wire. I think the cam sensor aids mostly in quicker more efficient startup. Also I have read that the two outside wires are switched for the LS2.

Do a search in this forum and you will find a couple threads discussing this.
Are you getting any cam sensor codes? You really need to check.

Ok the I finally fixed the problem.Bad cam sensor, the thing that tru me off was that I had a new cam sensor from the begining. So I just order a new one replace it and it works.

For any one that runs into the same problem.

1. The cam sensor has plus on the right, ground in the middle and the signal on the left. This marks are shown inside the plug of the sensor.Red of course is power, Pink is ground, and brown is signal.

2.make shore you dont cross the red wire to the left side of the sensor

3. make shore you have a good connection in your wires.
