Default stroker motors help blow cleaner?

I heard a friend say something about a stroked motor will blow cleaner for emmissions. Like say with my cam ( in my sig ) and a 382 stroker would my car blow cleaner?

the longer the stroke the more cam you will need. IE a 346 will pass CA smog with a 224/224 lsa 114 but not with a 228/228 lsa 114 but a 383 with a 228/228 lsa 114. would pass ca smog. the more stroke you go the bigger cam you can get.

Thats true for the most part. A stroker motor will not burn cleaner than any other engine just because it's a stroker. The cam and tuning will effect the emmisions. As said, a stroker motor will "use more" of the cam, and thus burn cleaner than a smaller displacement engine with the same cam.

Yep, more displacement can "suck up" more camshaft. So with the same cam would have a better chance of passing in a higher displacement motor..

Curious...
Since on this topic...
Stroker with a stock LS1 cam? Obviously the power will be down a good chunk, but what about passing emissions? Should do it easily? Or not enough cam to even run proper?
