Thumbs up Performance Racing Industry 2005 Photos!

Here are all the photos that I took in the past three days while attending the PRI (Performance Racing Industry) convention in Orlando. There was a TON of LS1 related stuff this year, the industry loves this little GM engine. Even in the machinery section of the show, almost every piece of equipment had LS1 related parts jigged up on them.

Tons of new Gen III/IV parts!

Great show....I was there with All Out Performance. It took me nearly two days to walk the entire show.

ET Perf - no intake manifold.
Warhawk head castings were pictured. Look on the last page.

Speaking of intakes, what is that Patriot intake on the last page? Is that a velocity stack intake like the Harrop Hurricane?

Tony (?),
Thank you very much for posting the pictures, and also taking the time to label everything!

Looks like there was a lot of interesting stuff there; Patriot and Wilson intakes, V16 LSx head, RHS heads... WOW.

What's with all the ol' school type distributors for LSx engines?

That is because this was an industry only event, no public allowed.

I was also happy to see all the Gen III stuff. This show was 10x better than last season. My favorite vehicle was the 1.56 million dollar Marathon motor coach

I had a blast for sure. Edlebrock is stepping up with the SBF 8* head which fits a yates manifold.

the LSX stuff is amazing as well. Had a lot of questions get answered and what not as well. Definately had a blast.

Several racing sanctions out there still outlaw EFI engines, and have rules that state the engine must use a distributor and carburetor. Mostly dirt oval track racing, some road racing, etc...

Maybe even NASCAR?
