Ls7
Will the ls7 be a similar install with a stroker kit as the LS2
I am feeling there is issues with oil pump and timing chain on the ls7
Are all the bolt holes the same .
Will it be as simple as an Ls2 conversion in a C5

Bolt holes are the same. The issures are the reluctor wheel and oil system depending on what you want to do.
John, you might want to do some reading in this section regarding the conversion. All your questions have been answered many times over.

John,
There are several guys, including myself, involved with LS7 crate motor projects going into vehicles other than a C6. Potential issues have been identified and workarounds are in progress. Depending on what your intentions are... buying a crate LS7 or waiting for the bare block to become available... and what vehicle you plan on using as a platform will determine degree of mods needed.

The bare block comparison ,is the question
I haven't seen any one build a ls7 ,block yet with pre 05 rotating assembly
I read of one that changed the reluctor wheel .
It is not clear yet if the blocks will be the same ,understanding the bore size difference
