LSX question how do i max it out to its full potential?
can it be ported? i heard it is a 3 piece design, true?
The advantage over the ported Ls6 intake, on a 418 ls2 is better with the LSX intake in which configuration? 90mm or 78??? I might procharge later in the build...

90mm is the way to go.
Porting may help a tiny bit- works great out of the box.
Get a Nick Williams or a TPIS 90mm Throttle Body. The one FAST sells is garbage.
Has shown decent high-mid and top end gains over the LS6 (about 10-20rwhp depending on setup).
Also, check out TPIS's ported OVAL LS6 intake- interesting.
