LS7 block info needed

LS7 block info needed Anyone have a list price and availability on this block yet? Also, anyone know how thick the cyl liners are? I wonder if the stock liners will take a .060 overbore. 4.185 bore x 4.125 crank = 454cid = what I need in my own 01 C5 coupe. Shirl Dickey is waiting on an LS7 bare block now to do all this testing but I figured I would ping the group to see if any research results yet.

LS7 blocks I can tell you that the stock LS7 liners will not go .060" over. I have had a chance to look at a slightly used block with a cracked sleeve. I may get some time next week to knock that sleeve out and get some dimensions.
If Darton chooses to make sleeves for the LS7, they should be identical in outside diameter to the dry liners I got them to make for the LS2 blocks. The very high strength of the ductile iron allows those sleeves to go to 4.150" max. bore.

That's what I thought. Just looking at a close-up pic of the sleeves you can see there isnt much. Plus, the bore-to-bore on-center dimension dictates the physical limitations of bore size, no matter which sleeve you press in. Keep us posted what you find.
