05 ls2, put in a high volume pump?

i have a high volume pump on an ls1, should i replace the 3000 mile ls2 pump or leave it?

Oil Pressure

your best bet is to leave it alone,the clearances in the engine do not require high oil pressure.
also high oil pressure takes away horsepower

Hi George
I would not worry about HP but saving an engine - a good rule is 10lbs per 1K RPMs, so if you plan on cranking 6-7K, you need at least 70lbs.
