I am pretty sure we are one of the first companies to get these , JP performance in Australia has come out with their new Double Roller Timing sets specifically for the LS2 . Here is some info on it :
This double-roller timing-chain set is a perfect complement to any high-performance camshafts and other LS2 engine components. It offers greatly enhanced strength and accuracy compared with the stock piece and even allows for timing adjustments (advance or retard) of up to 8 degrees. The set contains an adjustable, nine-keyway nitrated crankshaft sprocket; a double-row chain; a nitrated camshaft sprocket; two oil-pump-spacer plates; and all necessary installation hardware. All JP Performance Timing Chain Sets are supplied with inductioned hardened and multiple keyway crank sprockets (which have the keyways index marked for easier timing) and balanced camshaft sprockets and a true roller timing chain. Also all sets for engines without factory fitted thrust plates (i.e. Chev V8's and Chrysler big block V8's) are machined with a reverse oiler groove. For those that require a Torrington bearing fitted (such as race engines) then we also have them available. Sets fitted with the Torrington bearing are marked 'T'. The LS2 sets do come fitted with the Torrington bearing supplied with the set . New Era Performance is an authorized distributor for JP Performance so all parts purchased come with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty .

Mike, what's the deal with these. I ordered on the 3rd and haven't heard anything as of yet. I've e-mailed with no reply's. If there was going to be a back order or long wait period, i would think that would have been good to mention in the thread, or better yet, why not wait until you have some in stock before posting you have them. Your thread stated that you had them in stock, so there should be no month long wait. Please let us know what's going on. Thanks, Jason

Beast96z, I am just curious if they gave you any kind of time frame on when they will be getting their next shipment of these chains in. I have also been waiting over three weeks for mine and had made my order thinking they were in stock.

Did you know that i called them this morning and thay told me that it would be a frew more day but would be here by the end of the we ,and for some reason it came today ,I must have talked to some one that didnt know what was going on. Call them tomarrow and see what they say and tell them i got mine ,Randy Lewis

Finally got ahold of them today. Somehow or another my order was misplaced and they had no clue that it had been overlooked. All is well now and they next day aired me the chain, and offered up 10% off my next purchase.

I have a question. Is there any data that can say that you need to use a double roller chain?? I am just curious as I have seen no reason to use anything other than a Katech chain for serious engines??
It is much stronger and worry free , how much do new valves cost and a valve jod on the heads plus gaskets and bolts ?
