If we were to slap these ported heads on a 402 stroker which is the best manifold setup to use for it with Fuel Injection no carbs?

Right now, the only intake known to work is the 07 Suburban/Escalade "truck" intake.

Holden is said to be coming out with a "sedan" intake soon

Here you go Holden intake is near, full production of vehicles starts next month. Should be a part number coming soon.

Interesting to see such a great performer is not on the corvette but is on a truck already.

With out a confirmed good intake that fits it, the formula for power isnt confirmed. hope it does work out.

They would be 1k with springs and valves for better then AFR performance.
11 degree ET heads still work with the FAST 90 though and have better confirmed performance numbers.

Such is the sad state of our industry these days.

At my dealership, all they sell is trucks, the cars just sit there until someone, who can't afford a truck, comes by and gets "shoved" into it. It's kind of pathetic.

Interesting. Using forged connecting rods, but cast crank/pistons.

That's how GM typically builds thier engines. That is how your LS1 is built. Even the LS7 still has cast pistons, but with a forged crank.

I don't know that I've ever seen a cast con rod.

Would I be better off getting a set of these heads and porting them or going with a set of 6.0 #317 heads and proting them for my budget 408? They seem to be about the same price.

It might be to early to tell. I think we all need to see what intake options will be availabe before making any decisions to go with the L92's.

Good thing about it being used in the trucks and suv's will be mass production, and I mean massive. That should keep cost to a minimum. Is that price from GM parts direct correct at 160 bucks each bare?

Its likely the engine will be released in a detuned state to leave room to grow over the shelf life of the model. I think the "zeta" (Holden VE) range will likely use the same engine so, as was the LS1 which grew from 220KW (~300BHP) to 300KW (~400BHP) in HSV form there is room to grow with the L76.
Ill get the part number as soon as it pops up through the system unless someone beats me to it.
The L76 manifold on Holden vehicles is 12590124, no word about pricing yet.
