Default L-92 Heads...

So...Who's going to hold of getting heads until the new L-92 heads make it out to Patriot etc...?

Since they already flow around 350 cfm stock...(or so says GM High Tech mag) I figure they should get them up to around the 370-380 cfm area...

I figure it's going to be about the best bank for your buck head out there...

Lets see LS2 block, 4.0" forged stroker kit, L92 heads and a T-88 turbo...

The GMPD carb intake. Like the one that Hot Rod had on it's cover (That one was made out of plastic) GM is suposed to be releasing the aluminum one pretty soon...

I imagine Edlebrock won't be to far behind...

Take a look at my post (#18) in this thread - https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...0&page=2&pp=10

Edlebrock would do very well being the first to come out with an L92 intake... and even better if they did a single-plane in composite... and not aluminum.(more for the street guys), IMO.

If memory serves, the 350 number was on a set that had been ported already. We will have some information on the L92 coming soon.

It was about 313cfm unported when we flowed one. LS7 intake will not fit. We have a modified GMPP WAR intake that fits them, but it took a lot of welding/porting/spacers to work. GM would be the best bet to make a composite intake, I'm thinking the 6.2L should end up in the new Camaro anyway.

Yes, these heads will also be used on the new truck L76 6.0L that just came out in the 2007 Suburban/Yukon XL.

1/2 tons 6.0L's will also be aluminum block!!!

Excellent, that means holden in oz will be making a sedan manifold for it as the L76 is destined for the V8 Holden any day now due to 06 Euro 4 compliance requirements in Australia.

Word from the grapevine is that the Holden sedan release model L76 intake flows less than an LS6. This isnt surprising as we all know about the LS1 intake on the first model 97 LS1.
Its likely the engine will be released in a detuned state to leave room to grow over the shelf life of the model. I think the "zeta" (Holden VE) range will likely use the same engine so, as was the LS1 which grew from 220KW (~300BHP) to 300KW (~400BHP) in HSV form there is room to grow with the L76.
Ill get the part number as soon as it pops up through the system unless someone beats me to it.
