Default Refresh my memory...what's the difference between the C6 & C5 waterpumps?

I can find my notes but I recall something different was done to the design.....was this to reduce weight? Improve perfomance? Thanks

As I sit here looking at my LS7 I'm wondering why my Meziere WP319 electric waterpump won't just bolt right up????? Hey, it was good for 6/8 RWHP/RWTQ on my LS6 so why not free up a few more ponies on the LS7!

If memory serves me correctly, the thermostat housing is mounted differently. No idea why the design change. Perhaps the C6 pump flows better? I'll see if I still have the C6 pump at the shop in the morning and verify.
