Calling all valvespring manufacturers
Calling all valvespring manufacturers We are testing various LS7 valvetrain configurations and would like to pull every spring possiblity into the test. This is a comprehensive valvetrain test using our optron valvetrain dynamics spin test cell. We are looking for any LSx based spring with every range of lift, spring rate, beehive/dual spring, etc..
We are interested in purchasing 2 spring samples or donations would be accepted. Any manufacturer donating springs will receive a report of our findings. Please send them to:

How much lift will you be going to Jason? We are in the planning stages of a solid lifter 427 LSx and will be looking for springs to handle ~0.750" up to ~7,700 RPM with ~ 300 seat to seat duration, likely a Comp RC or maybe a TK lobe...

Thank you Katech for doing this! I assume you will be posting your results here and informing us of good and bad combos. Will you be testing valves as well, or will you be simply using OEM LS7 valves? I trust you will be testing the limitations of the stock LS7 springs as well, yes?
