SAM's 500" LS2 Project *Progress Pics*
For max effort and longevity, wouldn't it be best to coat everything (with respective coatings per parts)? Your already putting tons of money and work into parts, why not coat it too? I am sure you are well aware if the pros of coatings. Just seams like you are going all out and coatings would be a nice feature to add.

We would like to see the motor produce 650 to 700 horsepower naturally aspirated on Pump Gas. We are doing the complete build and dynoing here at the school.
Thanks for the compliments on the photographs. I just thought that the pictures looked good. I need a better camera for home as I would like to take more professional styled photos. I was using the work camera (7.1 megapixel Sony)

As you have thought, there WILL be an intake space to help line up the intake to the runners of the head. It will be outfitted with a 90mm throttlebody.
Our C5-R that we are building for our Orange 99 SS is what will be using the 105mm Throttle body, Big Stuff 3, and sheetmetal intake as well
THAT should put out 900 horsepower on motor.

I must say, that crank in teh first couple pic's almost looks cartoonish big in the block... I was wondering how that was gonna fit, and now I see.... lots of clearancing must be going on in there. What are you doing for an oil pan for that thing, no way a stock one is gonna work for that...

We will be using a stock oil pan. It should all clear but we will let you know what happens when it all comes together. If there are any fitment, issues, etc.
