Default Waking up a LQ4

I bought a LQ4 motor out of a 01 2500 pickup , its the low comperssion 6.0 iron block. I want to wake it up for a swap Im doing into a RX7 (heads/cam/intake) Im going LS6 intake but was wondering if I could get substantial hp's out of shaving the heads and enlarging the valves or should I just go with a head like a 5.3 or Ls6 or Ls1 ?? Also can I make the stock pistons work or are they dished to a point where Id need to go with a forged piston for an LS2 application ???Id like to have about 500ish crank HP , the combos out there are endless as far as heads and cams go, just wondering if anyone has any experience with the LQ4?? Thanks in advance.

I have a pair of stock 5.3's if you want to swap heads. They are complete however unassembled.
