The L92 cam will probably be something like 198/203 with valve lifts of about .500 I & E (using 1.7:1 rocker ratio) and about 117 LSA. Remember this engine is slated to go into a 5,800 pound or so SUV. The stock cam will about have to be the same as the current LQ4/LQ9 engine. The advance (low RPM) and retard (high RPM) VVT will be an added feature, but I think that I'm guessing pretty close on the durations values because of the vehicle it's targeted for. I've not seen the specs published for the cam for this engine or the LY6 or L76 either.

I'm wondering what the advance-retard range is for the VVT. My guess would be that it starts our about 2 degrees advance and then centrifugally advances to about 2 degrees retarded as it transitions through about 3,000 RPM''s. Does anyone have a thought on this?

its computer controlled, not centrifugally advanced.

i forget the exact workings of it, but in the "corrections" area of the newest hotrod magazine, the release engineer mentions a good bit of info about it (considering the small paragraph printed)

bg-sdpc,

Could you please post the valve events and seat-to-seat duration specifications for this cam?

Thank you.
