Default Warhawk LS7X

For those of you seeking info about the new Warhawk LS7X block and heads check out the April issue of Chevy Rumble. It has 8 pages of tech and a ton of the best illustrations that have all been posted in one place. Hats off to the Buckaroo guys for making the trip to NY to get all the most accurate info printed to date.
Blocks and heads still on schedule for end of March.

GM High-Tech Performance (Mar06) also did a nice piece... maybe not 8 pages... but a good piece none the less.

I also noticed you guys coming through for the Ford Mod motors guys awhile back... thanks HEAVILY to Sean Hyland Motorpsort engineering. CONGRATS!!!! to World and Sean Hyland!!!

GOOD TIMES for World is coming... and its about time the aftermarket comes through for the new age PRO drag racer gambling on factory blocks... John Mehovitz at Accufab comes to mind...

If you can scan and post the pages, or if it is online already, please post a link. I don't even know where to get that magazine. Thanks

Never heard of Chevy Rumble.
Must be a regional Magazine.

+1 on someone finding that article and posting it up.

Chevy Rumble is a buckaroo publication. you can find it in a Borders or any of the book stores or larger magazine outlets. They have about 6 or 8 real cool titles with the best 4 color photos out there. I think the website is buckaroocomunications.com. I will check and make sure.
Hot Rod also had some good info written by Marlin davis.

Well today's the last day of March, where's my block and heads? I've had a 9.8" block and bare 12* heads on order through Fast Times Motorworks since early Feb and they still haven't been shipped.

There are certain things you have to keep in mind when ordering a product before it's released. You may get it early, you may get it late, you may get it and it sucks... but you'll get it eventually.

I hate waiting too, but it's part of the game.

Understood, and I've been an early adopter before. It's just frustrating when you hear "I've sold 6 already" and you're still waiting on yours.

Monty,
Relax bro. I've had mine on order since Nov. of last year, I'm not at all concerned. You have to understand it takes a lot of time to bring a new product to the market. WP said late March a long time ago, they missed this but you'd be a fool if you truly expected to have a block in March. It's very seldom companies in this business hit target release dates, something inevitably happens to set things back whether is waiting for parts from suppliers or hiccups in manufacturing... these things happen. I can assure you WP is working very hard to get these items to the market, nobody wants these things on the streets more than WP! I'd rather WP have get my block 100% right than ship a questionable item just to hit a tentative ship date... if it takes them until May, so be it.

It will be worth the wait.

Just so you feel better, WP hasn't shipped any blocks or heads yet so its not like someone has passed you over.

You miss-understood my post. When I say "I have sold 6", I'm talking about selling them to other people as an engine package when "I" get the blocks... Right now, I don't have squat! And if these things get pushed back AGAIN...And AGAIN!... I'm going to lose those 6 orders be back a square one...

I'd rather see parts release dates pushed back than be given a flawed product. Engine blocks aren't computer games. They can't be updated via the internet and made all better

That being said this can be very frustrating and can cuase money to be lost. They should make it a point to give proper release dates. ALOT of companies should be better at this.
