Default Help with building a budget LS2

Well since i'm having a hell of a time finding a good used block for forged LS1 rebuild I think the next approach would be just to build a LS2, since I can just drive down to buffalo and pick up a LS2 block for $1000 bucks. I don't need a 402 a 364 will be plenty since this is going in a 02 Z06 with a A&A procharger kit. ThIs is what i think i need but if there is anyhting else please let me know.

1) LS2 block
2) LS1 crank 24X wheel?
3) scat 6.125 h-beam rods
4) Wiseco or Mahle 4.00 pistons (-2cc)
5) LS2 cam gear
6) LS2 tming chain cover
7) Racetronix cam gear and knock snesor harness
8) C6 oil pan, pickup
9) LS2 plastic lifter trays

I think that should do it-only thing left is all the bearings. I think this should probably come out to the same cost of a good 347 rebuild. I already have 317 heads and they should work well with a 4" bore-what do you think? i'm thinking by starting fresh with the LS2 block I'm save the money by not honing or boring a LS1 block or getting one that is damged? Have I missed anything? Oh and i alos read somewhere that some grinding of the LS2 block is necessary to get the motor mounts to fit right-but then i heard that doesn't apply to the C5? Will the stock water pump and pulleys work-will the ATI dampner for a LS1 work-thanks for the time to read this and your input.

I don't want the extra weight-I think the block is 88lbs more? Iron block is stronger and i can get it alot cheaper too. this won't be a too heavily boosted motor-maybe 10-12lbs max as I'm limited to the fuels system which needs to be upgraded after 700 rwhp. Even with 600 rwhp that would keep me happy-this way I know I can pound on it without worrying of breaking a ringland or detonating a piston like with the stock motor.

I have some LS2 Blocks I'll be selling shortly, they are blemished but usable at STD bore. I'm going to sell them for $650 shipped, I have 2 ready to go right now.

We have the adapter harness built into 1 piece with high temp loom. You also don't have to get it through customs.
