Default header ? for my Ls2

I called qtp about headers today and they said they wont have any for a month or two, which to say im not waiting that damn long, so does anyone know some good headers and i want 1 7/8.

well its a ls2 block with ls6 heads and other ls1 stuff. sorry bout the mix up

Get some Kooks or LG. You just need regular Camaro headers.

The LS2 uses the same headers as the LS1. No such thing as "LS2" headers, unless you are talking about the 2006 'Vette or 2006 GTO, specifically.

F-bodies just use the regular "LS1" headers.

We have 1 3/4 headers in stock. They are $700.00 coated, we also have a y-pipe with cats for $350.00 All of our testing indicates that 1 7/8 are to big for best overall power.

I agree. Unless you have an absolute monster the lil tubes work well.

well the 1 3/4 prob would have more torque but less hp, or am i wrong

QTP HVMC is all you need and its also the most powerful. The wait is well worth it. I highly doubt they are 2 months out.

He probably meant they are 2 months out on the 1 7/8ths since he said that's what he wanted. Their website has a TBA on the price for them.

I'd rather use the 1 3/4" headers if I was you anyways. With your setup you won't gain enough at peak to justify the loss everywhere else.

How do u know what kind of setup im going with, the only thing u know is a 402

Well he might know if you told us some more info? Asking for a type of header while hiding your setup probably isn't the best idea if you want to get good answers.

Up until this post, it looked like you were going with a stock ci LS2 block, and LS6 heads ... in which case you would prob wanna stick with the 1 3/4" .... now if you're going with a 402ci LS2, with big heads and a big cam ... you'd want the 1 7/8".

See how that works?

Go 1 7/8". Also QTP and Kooks are the same thing. Kooks makes them both.
