Factory Tuners Option for LS2

I am not quite sure where i should put this thread, but since it is a question about Gen IV motor vehicles, ill put it here.... I was browsing around on Inside Line and reading about the Dodge Challenger concept, and i saw that on one of the guages it had a 1/4 mile time and more. This got me to thinking, and i was wondering why cant GM install an HPtuners type of thing in their cars like the new upcoming camaro and GTO? like to adjust things, then be able to program it back to stock yourself with just the touch of a few buttons as an option straight from the factory? ...maybe it sounds like a stupid question, but i am just curious. Thanks!

Giving people more options to break parts and warranty work. It will never happen. They are working hard to get rid of the aftermarket tuning as it is.

because of emissions and fuel standards along with the warrenty issue.
