Default LS1/6 15° Pistons w/ Warhawk LS7x 12° Heads?

Well... I have pistons already for my project, but it has crossed my mind that these pistons have valve reliefs with LS1/6 heads in mind. They are Diamond customs, 4.125" bore with in-board pin bosses. Very nice pieces, but the rotating assembly has already been balanced and everything. Will the larger LS7 valves and the different angle require the pistons to be re-flycut? The cam I plan on using is going to be "street friendly," and the lift won't be very high. Here are some pics of the pistons now. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the added clearence with the warhawks, but if it's anything like the ET's, you won't even come close to getting into the relief. If you don't plan on getting into the relief, I wouldn't worry about it.

buddy, remember its not the lift thats the problem. its the duration. you will have problems with the ls6 pistons. get new pistons that are the same gram weight, or flycut these.

how big of cam are you running, duration wise? even the stock ls7 has valve reliefs.

i'm running a 246/257 @ 112 + 2, and had issues with my ls6 pistons.
