Default LS7 Oil Pressure Gauge/Lines

How is anyone tapping into the LS7 for a mechanical oil pressure gauge? Or is there an electronic sender we can use to send to an aftermarket electronic gauge? Or where is the sender and can we yank it in favor of an Autometer?

Also which port is in and which is out in the pan for the dry sump with respect to the front of the engine?

I think UMI Racing has an adapter fitting that replaces your stock sensor. It has an 1/8" pipe fitting.

Use the boss right above the oil filter (where the C5/6) tap into the block).

John, just t o be sure, you are saying to remove the small boss above the oil filter and drill and tap it for the mech guage - right? BTW, how did you make out with your clutch and flywheel - we talked when you ran into the pilot bearing issue. Larry

Remove the small manifold looking device held on by to M6 screws and tap into it for a 1/8 npt? That is an odd looking part - anyone know what it does? Not very big for adding a connection. Where does the PCM pick it up at?

Can anyone confirm which is in and which is out on the pan for the dry sump lines?
