Most 427"ish motors seem to make power 540-550rwhp range. Show me one that's made over 600 on motor with 93 octane friendly compression ratios.

That's why I asked "what engine." > "Duh!"

I didn't see anywhere in his post "what engine" it was so the "duh" was uncalled for. I'm not a post ***** in this board so I don't know all the people and what they are running... It was a reasonable question...Like it or not. And nothing was said about "friendly compression ratios, "93 octane", yada, yada... You "assumed," not me. End of story!

I was not directing my post toward you at all, nor your post about which engine this is (which was a perfectly normal question). I was not the one who said "duh", and my shedding the tear was with respect to someone laying down 620rwhp n/a, and most nearly CAM ONLY! I was not addressing you at all, and surely meant no disrespect!
When i said "street motor, or even semi-street motor", I was implying 93 octane (daily driverish) fuel. I've certainly seen motors put out more, but they were not in the same catagory. In this post I was speaking to you, because I got the feeling you were trying to be an asshat to me for no reason!

It has been tested by an independent third party. The K headers (referred to in the 6th post of the below thread) are 1 7/8" Kooks and the L headers are LG pro tubes 1 3/4". The LG's made 20ish more ft./lb. of torque w/ nearly identical peak horsepower on a cammed LS7.
