With ZERO tuning the LS7 Monte SS rocks the dyno rollers with 487/470 RWHP/RWTQ!

Thanks for all of the great props guys. It's taken all of my patience to wait since Thanksgiving to get this motor running when all I really needed after fabbing the dry sump lines was a harness and computer but it was well worth the wait!
Not any internal work but I am planning on having the "massaged" and a nice large lumpy camshaft. I'm going to have to top Lou's HP in his LGM daily driver ZO6 so I'll need to get somewhere in the low 600RWHP range
This may not be such a bad idea, however, I think some stronger side gears in the differential may be in order. After washing the car today I took it short spin and on dry pavement I eased down on the throttle in 3rd gear at about 3000RPM and at about 3/4 throttle the rear 315/35 tires let loose like it was the pavement was wet
do you have any plans for internal work with your LS7? why stop at "just" 487 rwhp?
May want to get a set of slicks before the track... Just say'n...

WOW John, those are great numbers!
And that's all done with our LS7 "Street Rod" ECM program that doesn't touch the Fuel or Spark Advance tables! In addition to our street rod stuff we just massaged the MAF table to allow for the LS6 screened MAF sensor.
I see even better numbers ahead! Keep up the great work!

What a sweet combo....and major kudo's for keeping the 6speed manual. Are you going to swap that 8.5 outa the back? I spent many high school days rollin in an 86' ss, gotta love'em. Is it about time to find some GN's to smoke?
