Exclamation 408 numbers???

460hp/460tq

99 Z28 A4

HPE 408, HPE Big-E Cam (244,248 609,615 on 113lsa) Hpe 5.3L Stage 3 heads (62 cc w/GM 6.0L MLS Gasket), Crane Gold Race RRs, SLP LTs -ORY-Loudmouth, Fast 90/PTM 90TB, ASP UD Pulley, Stock Injectors, 4L60e w/2800 stall, 3.73s, 18" Y2K replica rims. Stock tune(only idle tuning is done).

Elevation here is 4330 ft.

??? Any Imput??? Seems kinda low to me, but i dunno.
A/F Seems Pretty solid from 3500 on up.
Do I need bigger injectors???

Does anybody have a similar setup that is tuned that I could look at their tune?? Really need some help here as there are no reputable tuners here.
I have HPTuners.

I don't think you should make anymore pulls with stock injectors and a stock tune. That setup needs bigger injectors and get a WB o2 to monitor the AF. The stock timing table may also be too much timing for that setup so make sure there is no KR.

My stock injectors reached their limit at around the 450-460 hp mark, didnt matter what i did, the a/f ratio kept creeping up.

ya obviously maxing out your injectors at that level so 42# inj. & she need to be tuned to pulling some timing over there to get 500rwhp

what the heck is the deal with so many people leaving stock injectors in and then wondering why they can't make power with 400+cid??

all the work and $$$$ to do a 408 and the builder didn't tell you those wouldn't work or you didn't research it??

plus the stock tune is going to be worthless. why even dyno it with it?

yep. That seems to be the consensus....however my WB was showin 12.8ish AFR the whole dyno... anyway 42lbrs ordered. Now fedex just needs to run their *** off...

However does anyone have a TUNED 408 bin (hp tuners) for any F-body or Vette???

There are so many variations. You need to find a tuner and have him tune it for you. Putting your car on the dyno in the first place was just retarded....
