It will take about a 300 shot of nitrous. Why are you looking to make 850 rwhp of you don't mind me asking? That's low 9 to high 8 second power with a nitrous setup.

Well, in that case, 300 shot! I'd think about 2 stages though, will hit the motor softer, and decrease the liklyhood of bumper dragging action

i'd like to make as much power on motor as possible....i figured i'd do 2 stages, prolly just one stage of 150 or 200 just to start out to get the feel for the car and then throw a second stage to it......How much money we looking at here....i'm planning on building the motor myself and then having it tuned and all the new wiring for the computer done by someone else. I will also be doing all the chassis work myself. I plan on trying to do all this on a 295-315 MT drag radial. I know i won't be fast enough to be competative in the dragradial class but it would be a good start.

I think that you are looking at $15K worth of parts plus labor

I went 9.4 with 700rwhp.

Beck makes sheetmetal intakes, I might have one for sale if you are interested.
