Default cam for nitous ls2 race motor

I am thinking of going with a ls2 motor and im going to go high comprsion and alot of nitrous. The car is not a daily so im looking for a max effort cam. I want it to kick *** on motor but I will be spraying alot of nitrous (300+) so it has to be good on the juice too. Thanks for any help I can get.

The LSK lobes haven't been proven yet. I would steer clear of an LSK lobe as the nitrous motor is going to speed up valve event acceleration like crazy with that big of a hit.

Now on to a few questions, how many cubes? What bore/stroke combo? Max rpm? Max compression? Fuel? Heads? Gearing? Raceweight? Drivetrain? What amount of nitrous are you going to spray?

These will all help in determining factors for your cam.

it will be a 4" bore and a 6.125 stroke to make it a 402. It will have at least a 300 shot. The car is a th-400 and a 4000 stall which may change (converter) it has AFR 205's now but will go with ETP when I get some money. Compression may be around 13.0:1 or so. As for RPM I will go till the cam stops making power. Looking to be around 7000 or a little more. Fuel will be race gas. weight will be around 3100 or less im hoping (3300) now but stuff is coming out. And as for the rear it will be a 9" with gearing to go thorugh traps at optimum RPM.
