Ordering TSP 402 Longblock tomorow ???

Ordering TSP 402 Longblock tomorow ??? Well the day has finally came. I blew my 346 up last weekend and I am gonna order the 402 tomorow or at least by wednesday. i am gonna get the longblock with the stage 3 LS6 heads and run my magic stick in it. I notice that alot of you are runing a 402 in here and was just wondering what kind of times you are putting down at the track. I will be using my trusty 2002 camaro and all of the bolt ons that are in sig... Thanks

Ms3 will be considered as a tiny cam for the 402ci . Your previous mods are good to go along with your new long block. I advise you to step in a 1 7/8 LT`s and Improve your intake by going to fast or a sheetmetal.
You need to search more and more for simialar setups, also we need to know what r your goals? what kind of drivabilty will u be comfort with, is it a N/A or NOS setup?

I want to drive it dailly, thats why I dont want a radical cam. I am having it built forged, and H beam rods and a good crank for the nitrous and I plan on spraying a dual stage with a total of 250. I have an antiballoon plate in my converter so it works really well with the nitrous. I would like for it to get in the 10's on motor and well in the 9's on the nitrous... Since I went 11.45 with a stock bottom end, cam only 346 N/A, I dont see why this cant be achieved. Any suggestions.....
No You Could Im Just Saying Youre Spending All That Money A Little Bigger Cam Won't Hurt.... Hell If Anything Try Out One Of Those New Cams From Tsp Like The Ms4 .. You Know A Few Months Down The Line You'll Wanna Make The Swap So Why Not Just Do It Right From The Start

They've been sticking small cams in large motors for YEEEEARS (as in longer than MOST- if not ALL of the shops to your right have been in business) Don't let anyone tell you that you need a gigantic cam to make good power (assuming you have GOOD heads of course)

Yeah, I sure hope I can make some good numbers. I loved the powe the MS3 made on the jug in the 346 so I sure hope it works the same in the 402. I am getting PRC ported stage 3 LS6 heads with 2.08, 1.6 valves.

I havent had the cam in but like 3 months and the engine died, but it is bad when you try to make a full 1/4 pass on a 200 shot and hit the 6800 limiter at the 1000 ft mark.....

Its all up to you dude,its your car , but dont expect that much from the car . Its not about how big or how small u go for a cam. Remmember that so many ppl with decent size cams with 402ci and 408ci r still not satisfied with their results. Its all about the right combo. Every part in your engine need to match the other .
My advise is to do your own custom cam that matches your setup. you will need something like 242-252 cam duaration and 114 lsa . Try to contact Tylor at Mizfit Motor Sports i am sure he well be very helpfull. Also, CamMotion , Allan at Futral and comp.
