Default LS2 6.0L Head Gaskets

Anyone know what the bore is for the LS2 GM MLS Head gaskets?

I think the P/N is 12498544

I would assume that it is a 4.030 bore.

Default Mls Gaskets?

Well I am getting some ETP 225 heads (4.000 bore) for my LS2...

Here is my question:

I am looking at GM MLS head gaskets (P/N 12589227) And I wanted to know if they would work with my new heads.

I am worried that there may be some "overhang."

What do you guys think?

I really wanted to get the gaskets the same time I got the heads...

i would say the LS2 head gasket would be the same as the iron 6.0L block.

.
Damn man, why don't you delete 2 of the 3 identical topic threads that you've created.

As long as your LS2 has the standard 4.00" bore, the 6.0 MLS will work fine.

I wanted to... But I don't know how to delete threads.

Yes I have a standard LS2. So the stock MLS gaskets should work fine with-out any over hang? correct?

How about just not making 4 different threads in the first place?? I mean they all have different names so it's not like it was an accident??

Goto "EDIT" at the bottom of the first post of the thread, at the top click off the option to delete, then click "DELETE THIS MESSAGE".

Why? you're going to have to measure to get the right pushrods anyway. Then order them. So it's not like it will create additional down time.
